Who is Pr. Edith Kamese

Pastor Edith Kamese serves alongside her husband, Dr. Godfrey Kamese, as the Senior Pastor of The Praise Cathedral in Ntinda–Kigoowa, Kampala, Uganda. A devoted wife, mother to five biological children and five adopted children, Pastor Edith is a passionate minister of the Gospel whose life is marked by deep compassion and a powerful anointing.

She holds multiple academic honors from Aidan University, Jacksonville, Florida, USA, including a Doctor of Divinity, Doctor of Letters in Humane Studies, Master’s in Christian Education, and Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theology. She also earned a Diploma in Theology from Voice of Deliverance Bible College, Dunlap, Tennessee, USA.

Pastor Edith is a prolific speaker and author, known for her dynamic ministry in the Miracle Anointing, Prophetic Ministry, Healing, and Deliverance. Her preaching has taken her across the world, including the USA, UK, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda.

She has authored several inspiring books, including Marriage, Dating, and Courting (a best-seller in 2006–2007), Breaking the Yoke, and The Stone Mover. She is also the host of “Storming the Gates”, one of the most-watched programs on Uganda’s Lighthouse Television, and has ministered on radio stations across the USA, Denmark, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Edith is committed to social transformation. As Director of I Care Ministry under Praise Ministries, she leads initiatives that provide tuition-free education, food, clothing, and scholastic materials to vulnerable and orphaned children. The ministry also supports seniors and widows, organizes annual conferences for single mothers and single ladies, and extends acts of love every Christmas.

With a heart for God’s people and a message of hope, Pastor Edith Kamese continues to impact lives locally and globally through preaching, teaching, and compassionate outreach.

Pr Edith Kamese’s Ministry in South Korea

Pastor Edith Kamese has had the privilege of ministering in South Korea, where she shared the Word of God with passion and anointing. Her ministry emphasized the power of prayer, the work of the Holy Spirit, and living a life fully surrendered to Christ. Through her sessions, many were encouraged, strengthened in faith, and inspired to pursue deeper intimacy with God. Her international ministry reflects the global mandate of The Praise Cathedral Ntinda—to take the message of Christ beyond borders and impact nations.
